As you go on to your search for the perfect fall wardrobe keep in mind some helpful tips that will help you get more for your money.  Stretch those colors for other seasons where you can.

Foundation colors: Foundation colors are those colors that never go out of style.  These colors should make up the majority of your wardrobe.  Think the key pieces, the basics.  Pants, blouses, dresses, etc.  Just about any piece of clothing that can be worn during any and all seasons.  Foundation colors are an investment to your closet, feel free to splurge.

The colors:  Rose Smoke, Rhapsody, Honey Gold

Fall only colors:  Each season brings us its own style.  You can rock out your coats, boots, sweaters, etc. during this cooler season.  The colors for fall are those that you would probably only wear in the fall.  Why?  It would look a little ridiculous wearing these dark colors in bright, springy weather.  Unless you are an expert, resist doing otherwise.  Fall only colors can be an investment or just an asset.  How do you choose?  Just look at where you live.  If you live in a colder environment, feel free to splurge a little.  If you live in a warmer climate, go for the deals.

The colors:  French Roast, Olympian Blue, Titanium, Ultramarine Green

Accent colors:  The fun ones of the bunch!  Accent colors should add to your entire look without overdoing it.  Think costume jewelry, scarfs, purses and bags, etc.  Accent colors, like all things fun, come and go.  Save your money and grab the really good deals on these.  Chances are you are not going to be wearing these when the season’s over.

The colors:  Tangerine Tango, Pink Flambe, Bright Chartreuse
