Work Wear: Bright Pants

Last week we talked about Tweed in Spring, this week I wanted to share the idea of bright pants for work.  I prefer solid colors over prints when it comes to bright colors at work, but this should be based on your preference and work environment.  If it’s more laid back, then go for gold and get those bright print trousers.  If it’s more conservative, then go for a solid color.WWW 06102015 CollageI got these pink/coral pants from Lavo Collections (check a previous post on Lavo here).  They are a tailored fit with a straight leg – a favorite for work trousers!  The small slits on each side of the pants helps show off the shoes you pair it with.  I paired it with nude sling-back heels.

Because of the bright color of the pants, I wore a solid white button down that is always office-friendly.  Check out that flag in the background.  I’m so ready to run for office!  #voteforlizWWW 06102015 FlagTo accessorize, I went with a sea foam color necklace, matching earrings and a small purse.  To tie in the shoes I wore a thin belt in the same color.

The airy sea foam and bright pink/coral colors compliment each other very well.  I am not usually a fan of dangling earrings for a work outfit, but this necklace and earring set just worked well overall.

Get the look with these similar pieces:
