Style Log: Sweet Scallops

Scallops were a super-trend last summer, but they are still a very sweet look this year.  Plus, it’s so much easier to find a good deal on a scallop dress now.  Scallop dresses are just so sweet and fun, without being over the top and in your face.  And the pastel mint color on this dress just adds to the sweetness of this look.

I love these earrings and have even styled them before in a fierce, work-appropriate outfit – click here to see more.

To continue with the neutral look, I paired this dress with a white purse – a summer favorite of mine this year.

For a little more bling, I wore silver wedge sandals – a great way to dress up any summer outfit.

And, of course, you can’t forget some sunnies on a bright, sunny day.

Aren’t scallops just so sweet?!?!  Of course, you could go with a different look by adding bolder accessories – maybe a bold navy blue.  But, for a sweet and soft look, a neutral/pastel is always a winner.
