Last Minute Swish to the Final Four

I enjoy basketball. I may not be able to name a player off the top of my head, but I can appreciate the sport.  I understand the importance that an event like this can have on a school, the pride and bragging rights that fans gain, and the surge of energy that’s produced at the event itself.

It’s contagious!

I mean, it’s the freaking final four! And here are Jerry and I, just a 10-15 minute walk to the venue’s gate…and we’re at home watching it on TV 😒 SO…when I found out (just before halftime) that tickets were still available I was like 😍

And like the last-minute shot that won the game, Jerry and I made a spontaneous decision to go!! We bought tickets online, drove a block down to get closer to the exit gate of our apartments, got a cab (that was randomly…and luckily…outside of our apartment gate) to take us to the entrance, picked up our tickets at the box office, and made our way to our seats.

I don’t think I’ve ever gotten ready that fast in my life! 😂 Driving us to the other end of the apartment and getting a cab may seem foolish, but for the sake of saving time (remember, it’s half time!), why not?!? It was all worth it because we made it!!

Still trying to catch my breath from running up the ramp to our seats…#fitnesslife
Villanova wins!!!  🎆🎇🎆🎇
What an amazing game! Random fact: This was the second highest attended Final Four game 🎉

Some people might think that going to a game at halftime is senseless.  But getting to watch Villanova seamlessly execute a jaw-dropping winning shot was totally worth it – I’d do it all over again. After all, it could be the best title game ever.
